Role Description
The Assistant Manager role at Prestige Bathrooms Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in London. This role supports the daily operations of the showroom and project workflows, including overseeing customer inquiries, coordinating design and installation schedules, and ensuring orders and deliveries are managed accurately. The Assistant Manager will help supervise team members, maintain product displays, and support client consultations to ensure an excellent customer experience. The role includes liaison with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects on track, resolve issues, and uphold quality and service standards. The Assistant Manager will also assist with basic administrative tasks, reporting, and process improvements to contribute to efficient and professional operations.

- Experience in retail, showroom, or construction-related environments, with strong knowledge of bathroom products, interiors, or building materials.
- Project coordination skills, including scheduling, tracking progress, and communicating with multiple stakeholders to meet deadlines.
- Customer service and client relationship skills, with the ability to listen carefully, provide clear guidance, and manage expectations professionally.
- Operational and administrative skills, such as order processing, documentation, basic reporting, and attention to detail in everyday tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with designers, contractors, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Organizational and time-management abilities, including prioritizing tasks in a busy environment and maintaining accuracy under pressure.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM or order management systems); experience with design software is an advantage.
- Prior supervisory or team support experience is beneficial, along with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn industry-specific knowledge.
- Relevant education or training in construction, interior design, business, or a related field is desirable but not strictly required.
