About Anytime Fitness

With more than 4,500 clubs worldwide, Anytime Fitness is the world's largest and fastest-growing 24/7 fitness franchise. We're looking for an ambitious Assistant Manager to help lead our St Sampson club and deliver an outstanding experience for our members.

Working closely with the Channel Island Manager and Company Directors, you'll support the day-to-day operation of the club, lead and develop the team, drive membership growth, and ensure exceptional customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress into a Club Manager role.

The Role

As Assistant Manager, You Will

  • Support the day-to-day running of the club.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Drive new member sales and achieve membership targets.
  • Deliver an exceptional member experience.
  • Maintain high operational, presentation and health & safety standards.
  • Represent Anytime Fitness within the local community through networking and promotional activities.
  • Help establish the club as the leading fitness destination in Guernsey.

About You

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

  • An experienced people manager with a proven track record of achieving sales or performance targets.
  • Customer-focused, approachable and passionate about delivering outstanding service.
  • A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Organised, proactive and able to lead by example.
  • Commercially minded, motivated and driven to exceed targets.
  • Comfortable building relationships both inside the club and within the local community.

Experience in the health and fitness industry is beneficial but not essential—we welcome candidates with transferable management and sales experience from other sectors.

Desirable

  • REPs Level 2 qualification (or willingness to achieve it).
  • Social media marketing experience.

Hours

This is a full-time, permanent position (40 hours per week), including a combination of early and late shifts and weekend working. The club is staffed until 7:00 pm on weekdays, with reduced hours at weekends.
