Assistant General Manager - Barbican
Salary: up to 35k + bonus
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading premium fitness business based in the heart of Barbican. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven Assistant General Manager / Sales Manager to drive membership growth, build local business relationships and support the day-to-day running of a successful club.
This is a hands-on, sales-led management role where you'll be responsible for driving new memberships, increasing member retention and supporting the day-to-day operation of the club. You'll also oversee a small team of staff, leading by example to deliver an outstanding member experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day to day operations of the Club
- Support and lead on daily operations and running the facilities
- Responsible for Health club H&S and member experience
- Drive new membership sales and achieve monthly targets.
- Manage the sales pipeline and CRM to maximise conversions.
- Develop local business partnerships and generate new sales opportunities.
- Support member retention through excellent customer service and engagement.
- Monitor sales performance and report on KPIs.
- Lead, coach and organise a small team of up to three staff.
- Ensure high standards of presentation, compliance and health & safety.

About You
- Proven experience in an operational and sales-focused management role.
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A hands-on leader who enjoys motivating a small team.
- Background in fitness, leisure, hospitality or a membership-based business is desirable.
