We have partnered with a leading global advisory firm that is looking for a qualified or soon-to-be-qualified individual who has trained in audit and is looking to transition into a more commercial, client-facing role at Assistant Manager level.

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing global advisory firm specialising in deals, advisory and restructuring.

The Restructuring Team

The Restructuring team works with businesses, lenders and other stakeholders across complex and often fast-moving situations, including distressed businesses, restructuring and formal insolvency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work across a variety of restructuring and insolvency engagements.
  • Build relationships with clients, management teams, lawyers, lenders and other stakeholders.
  • Manage your own workstreams and deliver high-quality analysis and advice.
  • Support senior team members on complex and challenging situations.
  • Get exposure to both restructuring advisory and formal insolvency work.
  • Contribute to business development and new opportunities.
  • Support and develop junior team members.

What They're Looking For

  • ACA qualified or due to qualify in 2026, with a background in external audit, or an experienced restructuring professional.
  • Someone looking to move from audit into a more commercial, advisory and client-facing role.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
  • Experience managing your own workstreams and delivering to deadlines.
  • Restructuring or corporate insolvency experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • JIEB or an insolvency qualification would be advantageous, but is not required.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach and a genuine interest in building a career in restructuring.
  • Willingness to work across different sectors and travel when required.

This role would suit an ACA/ACCA-qualified auditor who is ready to move beyond traditional audit and build a career in a more commercial, client-facing environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on complex situations, gain hands-on restructuring experience and develop quickly within a high-growth advisory firm.
