BIRMINGHAM – ASSISTANT MANAGER | Global QSR Brand

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join a busy, fast-paced QSR operation in Birmingham.

This is a hands-on leadership role, supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the restaurant, leading the team on shift and ensuring consistently high standards across service, food quality and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the restaurant
  • Lead shifts and ensure smooth, efficient operational execution
  • Motivate, coach and develop team members
  • Deliver an excellent guest experience and maintain high brand standards
  • Support stock control, ordering and inventory management
  • Ensure all operational procedures and systems are followed correctly
  • Help build a positive, high-performing team culture
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and food safety
  • Support labour management and effective shift planning
  • Step up and take ownership of the restaurant when required

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or strong Supervisor within QSR, fast casual or a high-volume restaurant environment
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills
  • Confident leading busy shifts and making operational decisions
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A hands-on, proactive and adaptable approach
  • Strong understanding of food safety, health & safety and operational standards
  • Passion for delivering great customer service and developing a strong team
