BIRMINGHAM – ASSISTANT MANAGER | Global QSR Brand
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join a busy, fast-paced QSR operation in Birmingham.
This is a hands-on leadership role, supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the restaurant, leading the team on shift and ensuring consistently high standards across service, food quality and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the restaurant
- Lead shifts and ensure smooth, efficient operational execution
- Motivate, coach and develop team members
- Deliver an excellent guest experience and maintain high brand standards
- Support stock control, ordering and inventory management
- Ensure all operational procedures and systems are followed correctly
- Help build a positive, high-performing team culture
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and food safety
- Support labour management and effective shift planning
- Step up and take ownership of the restaurant when required

Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or strong Supervisor within QSR, fast casual or a high-volume restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Confident leading busy shifts and making operational decisions
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A hands-on, proactive and adaptable approach
- Strong understanding of food safety, health & safety and operational standards
- Passion for delivering great customer service and developing a strong team
