Assistant Store Manager | Central London | £35,000 + Monthly Bonus

Are you an experienced Supervisor, Floor Manager, or Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in your retail career?

We're recruiting for an exciting Assistant Manager opportunity with a successful and growing womenswear retailer in the heart of Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a privately owned brand with a genuinely positive culture and an impressive track record of delivering sustained like-for-like sales growth year after year.

The Role

Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll play a key role in leading a flagship store operation, inspiring a team of around 20 colleagues to deliver exceptional customer experiences and strong commercial results.

You'll be passionate about coaching and developing people, driving engagement on the shop floor, and creating an environment where customers receive outstanding service every time they visit.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy flagship location
  • Leading, motivating, and developing a team of approximately 20 team members
  • Driving conversion, customer engagement, and service excellence across the sales floor
  • Coaching colleagues to achieve and exceed individual and store performance targets
  • Creating a positive, high-energy culture that delivers an exceptional customer experience
  • Monitoring KPIs and implementing actions to maximize sales opportunities
  • Acting as a role model for customer service and leadership standards

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a Supervisor, Floor Manager, Deputy Manager, or Assistant Manager within a customer-focused retail environment
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience driving conversion and sales performance
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Energetic, hands-on leadership style
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
