I'm currently recruiting for an exciting Assistant Manager opportunity in Woking with an established fashion retailer. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced store, support a talented team and play a key role in driving sales and delivering an excellent customer experience.

About the role
As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team and deliver strong commercial results. You'll be hands-on across all areas of the store, from motivating and developing colleagues to maintaining high visual and customer service standards.

You'll be confident taking responsibility for the store in the Manager's absence and will enjoy working in a busy, customer-focused environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store
- Leading, motivating and developing the retail team
- Driving sales and achieving store and individual KPIs
- Delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Supporting with recruitment, onboarding and training
- Managing stock, deliveries and merchandising standards
- Maintaining strong visual standards across the store
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues effectively
- Supporting with performance management and team development
- Taking ownership of the store in the Manager's absence

About you
You'll ideally have previous fashion retail, retail management or supervisory experience and be comfortable leading a team in a fast-paced store environment.
We're looking for someone who is commercially focused, customer obsessed and confident leading from the front. You'll have strong communication skills, a positive attitude and the drive to develop both yourself and those around you.
