Duties and responsibilities related to the Assistant Manager Front Office role
- Take the lead on guest queries, ensuring effective service recovery and appropriate resolution.
- Take responsibility for all Front Office functions during your shift.
- Supervise, support, and develop Senior Hosts and Andaz Hosts through coaching, training, and regular feedback.
- Ensure all daily operational tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standard.
- Monitor credit limits and open folios to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review daily arrivals, guest preferences, and room allocations to deliver a seamless arrival experience.
- Coordinate group arrivals and allocations in line with group requirements and agendas.
- Work closely with the Front Office leadership team to achieve departmental goals, including guest satisfaction, upselling opportunities, and World of Hyatt enrolments.
- Support health and safety procedures, including emergency situations, fire evacuations, and incident reporting.
- Prepare and implement departmental action plans to support the achievement of key performance indicators.

About You
We are looking for a hospitality professional with previous experience in a Front Office or guest-facing hotel role, including exposure to supporting, supervising, or leading a team. You will have a strong understanding of Front Office operations and be confident delivering exceptional guest experiences while helping to drive service excellence across the department.
You will be highly organised, guest-focused, and an effective communicator, with the ability to coach colleagues, communicate with guests professionally, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
