Assistant Manager - Housekeeping
The Peninsula London is seeking to hire an experienced Assistant Manager - Housekeeping. Working alongside the Assistant Director of Housekeeping, and the Director of Housekeeping, this role will be responsible for leading a large and diverse Team with a strong emphasis on guest rooms standards and front of house; to maintain and improve The Peninsula Principles. This role will also be responsible for ensuring efficient operations with a focus on maximising cleanliness, cost control and guest satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities
- Assist managing and ensuring the overall quality and upkeep of the entire Housekeeping department.
- Monitor and improve standards throughout the Housekeeping Department with a focus on Supervisors, Porters, and Room Attendants.
- Involved in hiring, developing, motivating, supervising, and coaching a diverse Laundry/Valet Team.

General Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role within luxury hotels.
- Strong financial acumen; labor management and cost control.
- People leader and trainer having prior experience managing diverse teams.
- Self-starter, with exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.
