Assistant Store Manager | Oxford Street, London £36,000 + Monthly Bonus

Are you a retail leader who loves creating confidence-boosting customer experiences, developing high-performing teams, and working with a product customers genuinely love?

We're recruiting for an exciting Assistant Store Manager opportunity with one of the UK's best-known lingerie and intimate apparel brands. Based in a flagship Oxford Street store, you'll play a key role in leading a team of 20 colleagues within a fast-paced, service-led retail environment where exceptional customer experiences are everything.

The Role

Working alongside an established Store Manager, you'll help lead one of the brand's highest-profile locations, ensuring every customer receives outstanding service and every team member has the support to thrive.

This is a hands-on role where you'll spend time on the shop floor coaching your team, driving sales, and bringing the brand experience to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the flagship store
  • Leading, motivating, and developing a team of 20 colleagues
  • Creating a fun, energetic, and customer-focused culture
  • Delivering exceptional service through expert product knowledge and personalized advice
  • Driving sales performance, conversion, and key commercial KPIs
  • Coaching colleagues to build confidence and maximize performance
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing people development
  • Maintaining outstanding visual merchandising and store presentation standards
  • Leading from the front and inspiring your team to deliver their very best every day

About You

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or similar retail leadership role
  • Passionate about delivering world-class customer experiences
  • A natural people leader who enjoys coaching and developing others
  • Commercially minded with a strong track record of achieving sales targets
  • Comfortable leading a large team in a busy flagship environment
  • An interest in fashion, lingerie, beauty, premium retail, or styling would be highly beneficial
