We're looking for someone confident, hands-on and passionate about people, who can help drive standards across our three-floor operation and make every visit special.

Why the Hoop & Toy? This isn't just another London pub. The Hoop & Toy has a fascinating history, a distinctive character and a location that puts us right at the centre of one of London's most popular areas.

We're just a short walk from the museums and attractions that bring visitors to Kensington every day. Our cosy pub serves everything from hearty pies and fish & chips to vegetarian and vegan favourites, alongside live sport on Sky Sports and TNT Sports, live comedy and dedicated meeting and function spaces.

We're also family-friendly and dog-friendly, making us a welcoming stop for all kinds of customers.

For you, that means a varied and rewarding operation where every day brings different people, new opportunities and the chance to make a genuine difference.

What's the Opportunity? As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to help run the pub, lead the team and ensure every customer receives a warm welcome and outstanding service.

With a high level of tourist trade from the nearby Victoria and Albert Museum, Science Museum and Natural History Museum, you'll be helping create experiences that visitors remember long after they've left London.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
