Assistant Manager

Job Overview

The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Belfast International Airport, supporting the efficient daily operation of services at the assigned location. This role involves supervising teams, coordinating schedules, and ensuring high standards of service delivery in line with company policies and client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise teams, coordinate schedules, and ensure high standards of service delivery in line with company policies and client expectations.
  • Monitor performance, manage stock and resources, and support budgeting and reporting activities as needed.
  • Handle day-to-day communication with clients and internal stakeholders, address operational issues promptly, and contribute to continuous improvement in processes and customer experience.
  • Train and mentor team members, promoting health and safety compliance, and support senior management with projects and initiatives.
  • Lead and support the team from the front on the ground.

  • 5 days out of 7
  • Shifts between 4am and 9pm

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in team supervision or leadership within hospitality, facilities, or support services.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills to manage daily operations and priorities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with basic IT tools and systems (e.g., email, spreadsheets, scheduling or reporting software).
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and best practices in service delivery environments.
  • Ability to work on-site in Belfast, with flexibility to support operational needs as required.
  • Experience in catering, cleaning, events, or related service sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant qualification in management, business, hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
