Our store
Located in the popular Parkgate Shopping Centre in Shirley, the Specsavers store enjoys a busy and convenient location with a wide range of shops, cafés and local amenities nearby. The store is easily accessible by both car and public transport, with regular bus services operating along Stratford Road and Shirley Railway Station just a short distance away, offering connections to Birmingham and the surrounding areas. The store features two test rooms and provides both optical and audiology services, creating a professional and customer-focused environment where colleagues can develop their skills while helping customers with their eye and hearing care needs. As part of a supportive and fast-paced team, you'll play an important role in delivering excellent service and making a real difference to customers every day.

Our team
You'll be joining a friendly, supportive and experienced team who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer care. The team works closely together to create a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and colleagues, with a strong focus on teamwork, development and continuous learning. You'll be supported every step of the way through training and coaching from knowledgeable colleagues and store leaders. What we’re looking for?
- Previous optical experience is essential
- A confident and effective communicator who can build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a busy environment
- A passionate people person with a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Well organised, with strong time management skills
- Hard-working, proactive, and able to lead by example
