We are recruiting for a well known international advisory firm seeking an Assistant Manager to join its growing Partnership Tax team working across Private Equity, Hedge and Credit funds
Ideally, you will already have some partnership tax experience, gained at another advisory or legal firm. You will also need a UK accounting or tax qualification such as CTA, ACA, ACCA, etc.
Visa sponsorship is also available if needed.
The role
- Advise clients on UK tax matters involving partnerships and their partners
- Support clients with tax issues arising from transactions, restructurings and ongoing operations
- Manage partnership tax advisory and compliance work, including reviewing work prepared by junior team members
- Research legislation, case law and HMRC guidance to resolve technical tax issues
- Manage your own client portfolio and act as a trusted day to day contact
- Lead client meetings and calls, and liaise directly with HMRC
- Coach and develop junior team members
- Work closely with colleagues across the firm’s UK and international teams
- Support business development and contribute to the continued growth of the practice

What we are looking for
- ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA, etc
- Some UK partnership tax experience, ideally from an advisory or legal firm
- Experience delivering advisory and compliance work
- The ability to manage client relationships, support junior colleagues and explain technical tax issues clearly
- Strong written technical skills and attention to detail
