We're looking for an Assistant Manager who lives and breathes hospitality, wants to lead from the front and is ready to play a key role in taking the pub and its team forward.

- Support the day-to-day running of a busy community pub.
- Lead from the front and set the standard for great hospitality.
- Coach, motivate and develop the team, helping everyone perform at their best.
- Build strong relationships with your team through clear and positive communication.
- Take ownership of shifts and ensure every customer receives a brilliant experience.
- Help drive sales across food, drinks, sport and events.
- Make the most of the pub’s live music, sporting occasions and community events.
- Build strong relationships with regular customers and the local community.
- Maintain high standards across service, food, drink, cleanliness and safety.
- Support the General Manager with delivering the pub’s commercial goals.
- Step up and lead the business in the General Manager’s absence.
- Bring new ideas and energy to help grow the business.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who doesn't just want to manage a pub — they want to make it their own.

- Has previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader or in a similar hospitality role.
- Lives and breathes hospitality and genuinely enjoys creating great customer experiences.
- Is confident leading, coaching and developing a team.
- Has strong communication and people-management skills.
- Leads by example and isn't afraid to get stuck in.
- Understands what makes a great community pub.
- Has a commercial mindset and wants to grow the business.
- Is confident managing busy shifts and maintaining high standards.
- Enjoys building relationships with customers and creating an atmosphere people want to return to.
- Is ambitious and keen to develop their career with Greene King.
- Has the energy, personality and drive to make a real difference.
