Role Description
The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Droitwich Spa, responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the home. The role includes supervising staff, organising schedules, monitoring performance, and ensuring that service standards and operational procedures are consistently met. The Assistant Manager will assist with reporting, record-keeping, and basic administrative tasks, as well as help manage resources and facilities to maintain a safe and efficient environment. This position also involves supporting young people and managing and supporting staff, resolving issues, and promoting a positive experience for all stakeholders. The Assistant Manager will collaborate closely with the Manager and wider team to implement improvements and achieve organizational goals.

- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a service-oriented or operational environment.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage shifting demands.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with staff, children, and other professionals.
- Administrative and reporting capabilities, including comfort with using standard office software and maintaining accurate records.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and sound judgment when handling day-to-day issues or escalations.
- Ability to work on-site in Droitwich Spa, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and a consistent presence for the team.
- Experience in the sector is essential
