Join the team at The Tivoli, Cambridge

Looking for your next step in hospitality? We'd love to hear from you!

The Tivoli is one of Cambridge's most exciting hospitality destinations. Set across five unique floors, we're home to four lively bars, two street food kitchens, indoor golf, shuffleboard, private event spaces, and one of the city's best roof terraces overlooking Jesus Green. No two days are ever the same, and that's exactly how we like it.

We're looking for an Assistant Manager to join our friendly, close-knit management team. This is a hands-on role where you'll help lead the day-to-day operation, support an amazing team, and play a big part in creating the fun, welcoming atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back.

You'll spend your time leading busy services, supporting and developing a large team across different departments, and making sure every guest enjoys a brilliant experience. Whether it's a buzzing Friday night, a private event, a sunny afternoon on the roof terrace, or a packed weekend, you'll be right at the heart of the action.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, loves the buzz of a busy venue, and takes pride in building great teams. You'll work alongside an experienced management team who genuinely support one another, giving you plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and develop your career.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
