Job Description

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 37 Hours per week

Worker Type: Onsite Worker

Salary: Starting Salary is £36,363 (Level one) rising to £39,152 per annum (pro rata for part-time) (Pay award pending)

Location: Djanogly Community Leisure Centre (NG7 6BR) or Victoria Leisure Centre (NG1 1DB)

About The Role

Post 1 - Djanogly Community Leisure Centre (NG7 6BR)

Post 2 - Victoria Leisure Centre (NG1 1DB)

We're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced individual's to join our management team's as an Assistant Manager. In this exciting role, you'll help lead the delivery of high-quality leisure services across Nottingham, supporting colleagues to provide safe, welcoming and engaging environments for our customers.

You'll be responsible for leading and inspiring teams, driving performance, and ensuring our facilities operate safely, efficiently and effectively. About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
  • First Aid at Work, if not you are expected to obtain within first 12 weeks
  • Ideally Pool Plant Operators, if not you are expected to obtain within first 12 weeks
  • A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.

Essential Criteria

  • Drive and motivation, ability to deliver against challenging objectives
  • Ability to be creative, to be able to identify problems and work to create solutions
  • Evidence of actively working with others to improve collaboration internally and externally
  • Experience of the management of leisure facilities
