Job Description Summary
Secondment position.
As an Assistant Manager in the Full Funnel Marketing Borrow team, you'll support the development and execution of Customer Lifecycle Management marketing plans across Acquisition and Onboarding for key customer segments.
Acting as a key link between business stakeholders and Marketing Accelerator teams, you'll coordinate the planning, prioritisation and delivery of marketing activity, ensuring it aligns to customer and commercial objectives. You'll work collaboratively across multiple teams to support implementation, maintain pace of delivery and contribute to the successful execution of full funnel marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of Customer Lifecycle Management marketing plans by working in partnership with Marketing Accelerator teams to deliver activity aligned to Full Funnel priorities.
- Partner with Marketing Accelerator teams and broader business to embed successful marketing initiatives into ongoing activity, ensuring approaches can be scaled and delivered efficiently.
- Stay up to date with marketing trends, emerging channels, data and technology, applying new thinking and test-and-learn approaches to marketing activity.
- Support cross-functional initiatives and, where required, contribute to agile Pods or working groups focused on solving specific customer or business challenges.
- Maintain high standards of execution across all work, ensuring activity is delivered effectively and contributes to agreed customer and commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrate a culture of collaboration, communication and accountability, helping maintain pace and support marketing transformation.
Key Capabilities & Skills:
- Full Funnel Marketing Planning & Execution: Experience supporting the development and delivery of customer lifecycle marketing (CLM) plans across acquisition, onboarding and customer engagement. Demonstrates a strong understanding of paid, owned and earned media channels, and how they work together to deliver customer and commercial outcomes. Experience supporting cross-channel marketing activations powered by customer insight, data and analytical rigour.
- Agile Models of Operating & Fast-Paced Delivery: Advocates agile ways of working and embraces new tools, technologies and processes that improve marketing effectiveness. Active collaborator, working across multiple teams and disciplines within agile pods to solve challenges and deliver at pace.
- Project Management & Delivery: Demonstrates strong planning and organisational skills, coordinating activity across multiple teams to support the successful delivery of marketing initiatives. Tracks priorities, timelines, dependencies and actions, proactively identifying risks and escalating issues where required to help ensure activity is delivered effectively.
- Stakeholder Management & Influence: Builds strong relationships across the business and with Marketing Accelerator teams. Communicates effectively, collaborates with stakeholders and helps align teams behind shared customer and commercial objectives.
- Delivery & Governance: Understands the importance of effective governance, workflows and risk management in delivering marketing activity. Maintains accurate records, follows agreed processes and uses workflow tools such as JIRA/ MS planner and Workfront to support the successful delivery of plans.
- Commercial Acumen: Demonstrates an understanding of business objectives, market dynamics and customer needs. Uses insight and performance data to support marketing decisions and contribute to the delivery of agreed commercial and customer outcomes.
- Data, Insight & Measurement: Uses customer, market and performance data to inform decisions, identify opportunities and optimise activity. Demonstrates curiosity and analytical thinking, using insight to support recommendations and improve marketing effectiveness.
