It’s all in the detail. From an intimate meeting for six guests to a 100-cover wedding, you make every moment happen. We create memories our guests never forget - and as Assistant Meetings & Events Operations Manager, you’re right at the heart of bringing those experiences to life.

This is a fully hands-on, operational role. You won’t be sitting behind a desk - you’ll be on the floor, leading your team, ensuring rooms are set, service is flawless, and every guest feels looked after from the moment they arrive.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Taking operational charge of the conference and event spaces
  • Being the visible, face-to-face contact for all Meetings & Events guests
  • Leading the team during event setup, service, and clear-down
  • Ensuring every detail is executed to brand standards throughout the day
  • Building strong guest relationships to encourage repeat business
  • Working closely with the Front Office Manager and Bar & Bistro Manager
  • Completing Duty Manager responsibilities as required

What We’re Looking For

Experience in a similar operational role is beneficial, but a great attitude, a warm smile, and a genuine passion for hospitality are essential. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, physical environment and enjoy leading a team from the front.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
