We're now looking for an Assistant Merchandiser, to work in our Manchester HQ with our womenswear team.
Key Responsibilities...
- Support the Merchandiser in trading product categories to achieve sales, profit, and stock targets.
- Monitor sales performance, stock levels, availability, and intake, identifying risks and opportunities to maximise sales and optimise stock investment.
- Produce, maintain, and analyse weekly trading reports, identifying key commercial insights and recommendations.
- Prepare trade packs, reporting, and performance analysis for weekly and seasonal trading meetings, contributing key messages and recommendations to support commercial decision-making.
- Take ownership of merchandising systems, ensuring purchase orders, product information, stock records, and reporting are accurate, maintained, and up to date.
- Manage the end-to-end purchase order process, monitoring deliveries, supplier critical paths, and intake to ensure products launch on time.
- Maintain day-to-day merchandising admin, trackers, and reports, ensuring a high level of accuracy and data integrity.
- Analyse product performance, size selling, and size ratios to identify opportunities for replenishment, future buys, and stock optimisation.
- Work closely with customer brands to support the curation of commercially balanced product ranges, driving replenishment and stock availability to maximise sales.
- Build collaborative relationships with Buying, Logistics, Ecommerce, and suppliers to resolve issues and support successful product launches.
- Support seasonal planning, range reviews, and wider merchandising projects.
- Take a proactive, hands-on approach, driving continuous improvement and supporting the growth of the merchandising function.

- Previous experience as an Assistant Merchandiser or Senior Merchandising Admin Assistant.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively.
- Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment with a proactive, hands-on approach.
