Job Description
At ASOS, our Merchandising teams are at the heart of delivering the right product, in the right place, at the right time.
We're currently hiring for two Assistant Merchandiser opportunities within ASOS DESIGN, with one role sitting in Menswear and one role sitting in Womenswear. Whilst the responsibilities are similar across both areas, you'll have the opportunity to work within one of the largest and most exciting divisions of the ASOS business, helping to deliver trend-led product ranges loved by millions of customers worldwide.
Working closely with Buying, Product Development, and Supply Chain teams, you'll play a key role in planning, forecasting, and trading your department to drive sales, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience.
Whether your passion is Menswear or Womenswear, you'll be joining a fast-paced, customer-focused team where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact whilst continuing to develop your merchandising career.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the day-to-day trading and performance of your ASOS DESIGN department
- Managing weekly sales forecasts, stock levels, and intake plans to deliver sales and profit targets
- Analysing trading performance and identifying opportunities, risks, and actions
- Building and maintaining WSSIs and supporting longer-term strategic planning
- Working closely with Buying partners to develop balanced and customer-focused ranges
- Monitoring stock health and implementing actions to maximise availability and minimise markdown risk
- Preparing analysis and recommendations for weekly trade meetings
- Identifying customer and market trends to inform decision making
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Coaching and supporting Merchandising Administrators in their development
- Continuously looking for ways to improve processes, reporting, and ways of working

Qualifications
About You
We'd Love to Meet Someone Who...
- Has previous experience as an Assistant Merchandiser within a fashion, retail, or ecommerce environment
- Has strong experience managing sales forecasts, stock planning, and intake
- Demonstrates excellent commercial awareness and confidence making data-led decisions
- Can confidently analyse performance and communicate recommendations to stakeholders
- Has strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Builds positive relationships and collaborates effectively across teams
- Thrives in a fast-paced and constantly evolving retail environment
- Has experience coaching or supporting more junior team members
- Has advanced Excel skills and experience working with merchandising systems
- Is passionate about fashion, online retail, and delivering an outstanding customer experience
- Loves ASOS.com and has a genuine interest in the ASOS DESIGN brand
