Assistant Merchandiser - International Merchandising Team

As an Assistant Merchandiser in our International Merchandising Team, this role supports the delivery of commercial plans through sharp analysis, organised processes, and strong cross-functional coordination. From maintaining accurate sales, stock, and intake data to monitoring in-season performance, the role helps ensure ranges land in the right place, at the right time, and is delivered against business objectives.

As an essential part of the merchandising function, the Assistant Merchandiser keeps core tools up to date, prepares weekly trade insights, and drives smooth stock and supply-chain actions across all markets. Accuracy, curiosity, and proactive problem-solving are key to enabling the wider team to make informed decisions that boost sales, optimise stock, and elevate the customer experience.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a good understanding of the critical path and can utilize their numerical and analytical skills to interpret data. You’ll also need strong communication, influencing, and organizational skills to build relationships across the wider business, partners, and buying teams. If you can interpret performance metrics and use insights to maximize sales and deliver growth in future seasons, we want to hear from you!

NB This is a full-time role and is based at our Paddington Support Office a minimum of three days a week.

What you’ll do

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Maintain the BU/department forecasts by updating retail sales, stock, and intake plans using merchandising tools (e.g., Weekly Sales Stock and Intake (WSSI), Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP)) ensuring it aligns with the commercial plan
  • Prepare weekly trade reports, summarising key KPIs, best sellers, underperformers, and partner performance trends
  • Monitor channel stock levels and articulate overstock risks to the channels and the merchandising team
  • Maintain consistency across trading packs, planning tools, and reporting templates
  • Act as a key point of contact for administrative and data-driven tasks supporting international partners.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
