Your Opportunity, Your Team
The Assistant Merchandiser (Non-Live Planner) supports QVC UK and drives commercial performance across QVC's non-live channels through effective scheduling, product planning and airtime optimisation.
Where You'll Work
This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at Chiswick Park, West London two days a week.
What You'll Do
- You will create and manage daily, weekly and monthly non-live programming schedules designed to maximise sales, viewer engagement and category performance
- You will select products and build show line-ups using stock availability, sales history, forecasts and commercial insight to deliver the most effective mix and sequence
- Prepare show running orders, schedule content into relevant systems and ensure accuracy and integrity across programme and airtime planning
- Monitor performance on a £ per minute basis, review future schedules and recommend changes based on analysis, stock flow and trading opportunities
- Work closely with Planning, Programming, Platforms and wider business teams to align schedules, optimise non-live opportunities and support themed events and promotional activity
- Analyse sales, stock and programme performance data to identify opportunities and risks, presenting recommendations in business meetings where appropriate
- Review category mix and channel output regularly to ensure schedules deliver a strong customer experience while meeting commercial targets

What You'll Bring
- You will have experience in a retail, merchandising, planning or stock control environment at assistant merchandising level, ideally within a commercially driven multi-channel or media-led business
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with experience using data, inventory information and sales trends to make sound commercial decisions
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work cross-functionally with planning, programming and platform teams
- Experience working with a range of systems and tools, including Excel and other bespoke planning or sales systems
