Location: Canary Wharf, London
Salary: Competitive plus benefits
Hours: 42 hours per week. Night Concierge work 4 days on 4 days off, 12 hour shifts; 8pm - 8am. Weekends bank holidays will be required on a rota basis.


We’re looking for an Assistant Night Manager to support the smooth running of our night operations and ensure our residents receive exceptional service around the clock. This is a key leadership role that combines operational oversight, team management, and customer excellence to create a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for our residents and university partners.

As the Assistant Night Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing operations across three towers in Canary Wharf—during your shift. You may also be asked to assist within our 9 other communities across London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Night Operations: Oversee building checks, resident queries.
  • Drive Service Excellence: Role-model outstanding customer service and support the resolution of resident queries and complaints.
  • Manage & Develop Teams: Coach and inspire night team colleagues, ensuring performance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure Compliance & Safety: Maintain Health & Safety standards, GDPR compliance, and deliver risk-reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate & Communicate: Provide accurate handovers to day teams and foster strong teamwork across the business.
  • Support Financial Efficiency: Assist in managing operational costs and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Employee relations: Manage employee relations issues effectively and promptly, promoting a fair, positive and inclusive work culture.
