SPACE Student Accommodation, St Andrews

4 On, 4 Off Night Shift Pattern

SPACE is looking for an experienced, confident, and highly organised Assistant Operations Manager (Nights) to join our team in St Andrews.

This is a key operational management role with responsibility for overseeing our properties and resident experience throughout the night. Working on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, you will be the senior operational presence overnight, ensuring our buildings remain safe, secure, well managed, and welcoming.

Our properties operate 24 hours a day, and we want the same high standard of management, service, and support to be available to our residents overnight as it is during the day.

The Role

As Assistant Operations Manager (Nights), you will take ownership of night operations across the property, working independently while maintaining a strong handover and working relationship with the wider management team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
