Job Opportunity: Assistant Patient Pathway Coordinator
Please note this role is currently only being advertised to staff members who are currently working within the Kent and Medway ICS.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Assistant Patient Pathway Coordinator within the Trauma and Orthopaedic department based at Maidstone Hospital with the need to Cross site.
Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and booking outpatient clinics.
Essential Skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Working using own initiative
- Excellent communication with patients and clinical staff
- Outstanding organisation and time management
- Competent in using Microsoft Office packages with good keyboard skills
Desired Skills
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with a positive and solution-focused attitude
- Knowledge of patient waiting lists (training will be provided)
- Previous NHS or healthcare experience (though this is not necessary) and administration experience
- Knowledge of systems such as Allscripts and Medirota (training will be given)
