Job Description & Person Specification
The Planning Department is currently seeking a permanent, full-time Service Support Technician to work in our fast-paced, innovative, and supportive team.
Previous experience of Development Management/Planning is desirable but not essential. We believe this is an exciting opportunity that would suit an individual who enjoys working in a stimulating, customer-focused environment, who has an eye for detail and accuracy, and is looking for a new challenge.
The work of the Planning Support Team is varied, including:
- Registering and advertising applications using IT systems bespoke to the service
- Researching and answering Planning-related queries in e-mails and over the phone
- Providing a wide range of administrative support to the Planning team

Full in-house training will be provided, but you should be willing to learn new skills, and able to utilize these to provide an excellent service to our customers.
Team members are hybrid home and office workers and you would need to attend the office in Torquay at least twice a week.
