Assistant Practice Manager

Up to £35,000 + Excellent Benefits + Career Progression

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading specialist barristers’ chambers with an outstanding reputation in the UK and internationally. Working as part of an experienced Practice Management team, you will provide high-quality administrative, operational and client support to a busy group of barristers, helping to ensure their practices, cases and client commitments run smoothly. The role will provide exposure to diary and case management, client relationships, fee management, work allocation and business development, offering genuine scope to develop a long-term career within legal services, practice management or clerking.

You will be highly organised, commercially aware and confident managing competing priorities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail. A calm, professional and proactive approach is essential, together with the ability to build strong relationships with senior professionals and clients, handle confidential information and work effectively under pressure.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
