Our client is a highly regarded specialist Barristers’ Chambers with a formidable reputation, and recognised for excellence across all its key practice areas. Members of Chambers and Staff are also acknowledged for providing outstanding client service.
This role assists in the delivery of a high quality, efficient clerking service to clients and members of Chambers. The nature of Chambers’ work means that this role is fast-paced and often high profile. The Assistant Practice Manager will be engaged in practice management and client handling and will be principally involved in assisting the Practice Manager in the efficient case management and clerking administration by the team.

- Practice and diary management
- Supporting the business development function
- Liaising with Solicitors and other clients
- Supporting more senior colleagues
- Supervision of more junior colleagues
Suitable individuals will ideally possess a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience gained in a relevant Chambers or similar legal/professional services environment. They will be highly motivated, client service focused and possess outstanding communication skills. This role sits within the civil team, but Chambers is open to receiving applications from all practice area backgrounds (including crime).
