Assistant Principal Employer Skills, Innovation & Growth
Capel Manor College is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to develop and lead on the College's strategy for growth and innovation. The Assistant Principal Employer Skills, Innovation & Growth will direct the operations of a number of teams to promote and grow the College’s offer, income, and strategic partnerships. The post holder will be the College’s Ofsted Nominee for Skills and have oversight of the College’s employer advisory boards, working with curriculum colleagues.
About the Role
This role is pivotal to the future development of the College, with responsibility for maximising opportunities for growth and income generation by engaging with employers, securing achievement of all recruitment targets, including Apprenticeships, and developing new activities/income streams to anticipate and meet the skills needs of the sectors within which the College works.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies for innovation and growth including curriculum innovation and expansion of our commercial offer.
- Work on bids and collaborative activities with partners.
- Ensure the strategic leadership, management, and development of the College’s Apprenticeship provision.
- Ensure that the quality of delivery meets the needs and expectations of employers.

Ideal Candidate
- Significant management experience of Apprenticeships and Employer Engagement.
- Proven experience of growing income, developing new business, and generating productive relationships with employers.
- Track record of shaping, motivating, developing, and managing an effective team over time.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve problems.
- Successful track record of managing and delivering change.
