Assistant Principal Responsible for SEND

We are looking to further strengthen our Senior Leadership Team with the appointment of an Assistant Principal responsible for SEND. Whether you are a talented and proven leader or looking to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Have a genuine desire and passion to make a real difference to the lives and life chances of our children.
- Be hardworking, dedicated and willing to embrace new challenges.
- Be an inspirational teacher with a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Be a qualified SENDCo, or be undertaking a recognised SEND qualification such as the NPQ for SEND.
- Be a highly effective leader who leads by example, developing excellence in others through coaching, mentoring and leadership of a key stage. Experience within EYFS would be particularly advantageous.
- Have a proven track record of leading a core subject and driving improvements in outcomes.
- Possess a clear vision, energy and commitment to all aspects of school life.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and external agencies.
- Share our commitment to ensuring every child achieves their full potential, both academically and personally.

Little London Academy is part of The Gorse Academies Trust, having joined in February 2024. The Gorse Academies Trust has an increasingly well-known reputation for changing the life chances for children and young adults who come from some of the most impoverished parts of the country.
