About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious private bank in Mayfair as an Assistant Private Banker. You’ll support senior bankers in managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, with a particular focus on Arabic-speaking clientele.
The role blends client service, operational support, and relationship management, offering a strong platform for long-term career progression within private banking.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Private Bankers in managing and developing client relationships across the HNW and UHNW segments.
- Act as a key point of contact for Arabic-speaking clients, ensuring exceptional service and culturally aligned communication.
- Assist with onboarding, KYC/AML checks, account opening, and documentation management.
- Prepare client reports, briefing packs, investment summaries, and meeting materials.
- Coordinate internal teams (Compliance, Operations, Wealth Management) to ensure smooth delivery of client services.
- Handle day-to-day client queries, transactions, and administrative tasks with accuracy and discretion.
- Maintain CRM records, monitor client activity, and support bankers with portfolio reviews.
- Contribute to business development activities, including prospect research and preparation of proposals.
- Uphold the bank’s standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and regulatory compliance at all times.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in private banking, wealth management, or high-end financial services (1–3 years ideal).
- Strong understanding of client service within a luxury or financial environment.
- Solid grasp of KYC/AML processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- Confident using banking systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Discreet, polished, and comfortable interacting with high-net-worth clients.
