Job Title: Assistant Producer (Specialist Factual)

Location: London based
Contract: Various positions beginning across Autumn 2026
Production: Primetime Feature Documentaries for a variety of broadcasters

We are looking for London-based Specialist Factual APs to join our teams on multiple productions in Autumn 2026. We are working on some powerful and sensitive feature-length documentaries for a variety of broadcasters.

Working closely with the Directors, the successful candidates will play a key editorial and logistical role, helping to shape thoughtful and compelling films. You will need to bring emotional intelligence, initiative, and editorial awareness to challenging subjects with lasting public impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Approaching and maintaining relationships with sensitive and vulnerable contributors
  • Having an excellent awareness of compliance issues and Duty of Care protocols
  • Negotiating complex access with organisations and individuals
  • Setting up and supporting shoots
  • Writing detailed briefing documents and forward planning
  • Supporting the Director on location and in preparation for filming

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Credits on at least three prime-time factual or specialist factual singles or series
  • Proven experience working with sensitive contributors and subject matter
  • Strong organisational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
  • Confidence working to tight deadlines and remaining calm under pressure
  • On-location filming experience
  • Ability to second camera / self-shoot
