About the Team and Role

This role will support the management and optimisation of our lending products through robust analysis, reporting, pricing intelligence, and market insights. Working closely with Product Managers and key stakeholders across the business, you will play a vital role in transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and product performance.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own and manage product, pricing and competitor datasets, ensuring information is accurate, timely and actionable.
  • Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards and analytical models to support product performance monitoring and strategic decision making.
  • Analyse market movements, competitor activity and portfolio performance, providing clear recommendations and insights to stakeholders.
  • Support the pricing and management of lending products, ensuring propositions remain competitive whilst delivering business objectives.
  • Assist in the launch, amendment and withdrawal of products and product ranges.
  • Support the Product Managers in the production of Product Risk Assessments, Fair Value Assessments and Target Market Reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve reporting capability and increase operational efficiency through the use of data and technology.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Lending, Finance, Risk, Commercial and Technology teams to deliver analytical insight and business improvements.
  • Maintain procedure manuals, governance documentation and version control processes.
  • Monitor regulatory and industry developments, assessing potential impacts on products, pricing and customer outcomes.

What we’re looking for

Required

  • Robust Excel skills, including:

    • Complex formulas and logical functions
    • Lookups, Pivot Tables and data modelling
    • Dashboard creation and automated reporting
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.

  • Ability to interpret data and communicate clear, evidence-based recommendations.

  • Experience producing management information, reporting packs or business insights.

  • Strong attention to detail and a structured problem-solving mindset.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience with programming or data analysis tools such as: Python, VBA, SQL, Power Query / Power Pivot, Power BI or equivalent visualisation tools.
  • Experience automating reporting and data processing activities.
  • Knowledge of pricing analytics, financial services, lending or mortgages.

We're looking for a naturally curious, data-driven individual who enjoys analysing detail, identifying trends and solving problems. With strong communication and stakeholder management skills, you'll be able to translate complex analysis into clear, evidence-based recommendations and influence business decisions. Organised and adaptable, you'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Product management experience is beneficial, but we also welcome candidates from analytical, data, pricing or commercial backgrounds looking to develop a career in Product Management.
