The Job:
Supporting all STANLEY Business Units. We are currently looking for a Field Ideation Product Manager to join our team, focusing on innovation generation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the team in the initial discovery work of existing and future construction workflow, materials and techniques in multiple residential construction environments. These ideas will feed the businesses long term strategic roadmap.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and embed the Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) process across the STANLEY business to drive front-end innovation discovery.
- Build an actionable innovation pipeline ahead of pre-phase gate by identifying unmet needs, inefficiencies, and opportunity areas.
- Select, observe, document, and analyse 3–5 jobsite workflows annually to generate actionable customer and jobsite insights.
- Engage external construction industry partners and attend key seminars, expos, and conferences to track emerging materials, methods, capabilities, and legislation.
- Develop a forward-looking view of how jobsites will evolve over the next 5–10 years, including shifts in materials, construction techniques, regulations, productivity, and industry practices.
- Create AI-driven processes to synthesize insights from new and existing data sources and translate them into strategic opportunities.
- Generate 3–5 innovation ideas aligned to the STANLEY 3-year product strategy, while partnering cross-functionally to advance concepts and establish repeatable tools, templates, and best practices.

About You:
You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. You’re not intimidated by innovation. In fact, you embrace it. Wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good? You also have:
- Strong project management skills and the ability to effectively work autonomously but also with others across the organization including Product Management, Brand Marketing, Industrial Design, Engineering and Regional Commercial Teams.
- University degree in a business-related field
- Full UK Driver’s license
- Experience using various computer applications including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other applications in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively across functions and lead teams.
