Location: Comfort House, Batley

Salary: £37,000 - £43,000 DOE + Car Allowance

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Please note, you will need to hold a UK Driving Licence to apply for this position.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in product, buying, merchandising, marketing, or a similar commercial role who wants to develop a long-term career in Product.

Working closely with our Head of Product, you'll be involved in every stage of the product journey, from market research and competitor analysis through to pricing, product launches, supplier management and in-store rollouts. You'll become the vital link between Product, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail teams, and suppliers, ensuring new ranges launch successfully and deliver exceptional results for our customers. You'll work collaboratively with the Head of Product to create and enhance business processes that drive operational excellence. Taking ownership from development through to implementation, you'll lead the rollout of new processes, engage stakeholders across the business, and ensure they are adopted effectively and followed consistently.

No two days are the same! One week you could be analysing sales data and reviewing product performance, the next you might be visiting stores at the other side of the country, coordinating a product launch, attending a trade show, or working alongside suppliers on exciting new developments!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the delivery of new product launches from concept to store
  • Analysing competitor activity, market trends and sales performance data
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers, retail teams, Marketing and Merchandising
  • Coordinating pricing updates, product setup and launch plans
  • Managing product information and ensuring marketing materials are accurate
  • Visiting stores to gather insight and understand customer and product performance
  • Supporting store openings, refits and new range rollouts
  • Assisting with product photoshoots, trade shows and supplier reviews
  • Creating product guides and launch documentation for store teams
  • Helping keep projects on track, on budget and delivered to agreed timelines.

  • Organised, detail-focused and proud of delivering high-quality work
  • Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Commercially minded and genuinely interested in products and retail
  • Curious, analytical and comfortable using data to identify opportunities
  • Proactive, adaptable and keen to learn
  • Ability to work away on occasion to support the needs’ of the business
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Skills & Experience

  • Ideally 1-2 years' experience in a product, merchandising, buying, marketing or similar commercial role
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with planning or task management tools is advantageous
  • Comfortable using AI and digital tools to support research and productivity
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the UK when required.
