Description Overview

We are excited to recruit an Associate to join our newly formed Scientific Policy and Intelligence (SPI) team, based in London. This is an ideal opportunity for applicants with some experience in a Regulatory Affairs function or equally, you might be a recent Graduate looking for your first step into Scientific Affairs.

In this role, you will support the effective operation of Perrigo’s scientific policy and intelligence function by ensuring that intelligence data is captured accurately, consistently and in line with defined processes. This entry-level role has a primary focus on execution, data quality and process discipline, providing the reliable intelligence foundation needed to support analysis, interpretation and informed decision-making by more senior members of the team.

Working within a supervised team environment, your role is responsible for centralisation of intelligence and supporting trade association and subject matter experts in doing so. The role is focused on structured information, maintaining data completeness and supporting timely follow-up on actions. The role applies basic regulatory, scientific and policy understanding to routine tasks, working within established procedures and selecting appropriate solutions from defined options or previous examples.

The role provides practical support to SME forums, trade association debriefs and intelligence processes by managing logistics, taking clear notes, documenting actions and compiling outputs for broader communication. By ensuring that information is well structured, complete and traceable, the Assistant helps strengthen consistency, efficiency and scalability within the SPI function.

Scope of the Role

Policy & Intelligence Operations

  • Capture scientific, regulatory and policy intelligence accurately within agreed systems, templates and processes.
  • Support trade association representative and subject matter experts by converting outputs from trade associations materials, or other intelligence sources, SME inputs, meeting notes and other sources into structured intelligence records.
  • Maintain data quality by checking records for completeness, consistency, correct categorisation and appropriate supporting information.
  • Support routine monitoring and tracking of assigned topics, ensuring new information is recorded and escalated for review where required.
  • Work within defined procedures and guidance, seeking support where interpretation, prioritisation or judgement is required.
  • Provide administrative and process support for trade association debriefs, SME forums and internal intelligence discussions.
  • Prepare agendas, capture notes and document key updates, actions and follow-up items from relevant meetings.
  • Follow up with SMEs and internal stakeholders to obtain missing information, confirm updates and support timely closure of routine actions.
  • Support the compilation of intelligence information into a range of clear, structured formats for different audiences, including tabulated overviews, routine summaries and newsletter content, with review by more senior team members prior to wider circulation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
