About The Role
For this post, we are looking for a candidate with expertise in the global arms trade, militarism and global (in)securities to cover a research-leave.
You will be responsible for convening and delivering modules in the International Relations curriculum, in particular:
- Year 1 undergraduate modules on the theme of ‘the Local and the Global’
- Year 3 undergraduate module on “The Arms Trade and Global (In)securities,” which focusses on the global arms trade and its role in global (dis)order and (in)securities
You may be asked to deliver other modules as required by the Department.
You will collaborate with members of the Departments of International Relations and International Development as well as the wider School of Global Studies.
About You
The successful candidate will normally possess a doctorate in International Relations or cognate discipline and show clear evidence of teaching experience in the global arms trade, militarism and global (in)securities.
The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and a proven understanding of requirements to enhance student experience.
