Role Description

The Assistant Project Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in London, supporting operational and project-related activities across the restaurant’s functions. In this role, the individual helps coordinate small process improvement initiatives, tracks timelines and tasks, and assists with documentation related to projects and operational changes.

  • Supporting expediting and logistics of supplies
  • Coordinating inspections and follow-up actions
  • Maintaining clear communication with management, vendors, and internal teams

The role also involves:

  • Monitoring progress against project plans
  • Preparing status updates and reports
  • Helping ensure that operational standards, scheduling, and resource allocation are aligned with business objectives

The Assistant Project Coordinator contributes to a well-organized work environment, supporting efficient restaurant operations and consistent guest service.

Qualifications

  • Experience or familiarity with expeditor and expediting functions, ensuring timely movement of tasks, supplies, or information.
  • Foundational skills in project management, including organizing tasks, tracking deadlines, and supporting implementation of operational initiatives.
  • Knowledge or experience in inspection processes, including coordinating inspections, documenting findings, and assisting with corrective actions.
  • Understanding of logistics management, such as coordinating deliveries, inventory support, and supplier communication.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email) and comfort with learning new tools or systems.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant operations, or a similar service-oriented environment is beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site in London, maintain reliability in attendance, and adapt to changing operational needs.
