Role Description
The Assistant Project Manager role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Henley-In-Arden, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting project planning and coordination, assisting with scheduling and expediting activities, and helping to manage logistics for construction and heritage projects. The role involves monitoring project progress, preparing status reports, and supporting inspections and quality checks. The Assistant Project Manager will collaborate with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements are met. The role also includes maintaining accurate project documentation and contributing to continuous improvement of project processes.

- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and basic stakeholder communication.
- Candidates should possess skills in Expeditor and Expediting to support timely delivery of materials, services, and documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inspection to assist with site visits, quality checks, and compliance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess skills in Logistics Management to help organize resources, schedules, and supply chain activities.
- Relevant experience in construction, property, or heritage projects is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working in a team and liaising with clients and suppliers.
- Proficiency with common office and project tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, project tracking software) is advantageous.
- A relevant qualification or progress toward a qualification in construction management, project management, or a related field is preferred.
