We’re doing exciting things, with our highly specialist team

At Apatura, we develop projects that power clean energy and a thriving digital world — from battery storage to data centres. It’s complex, high-impact work, delivered by a highly capable team who move quickly and care deeply about doing things well.

We’re driven by bold ideas, a strong sense of purpose and a willingness to challenge how things are usually done. With a growing pipeline of projects and ambitious plans to expand the business, this role offers the chance to play a key part in supporting Apatura’s next stage of growth.

About the role

We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the development and delivery of renewable energy projects, primarily BESS and data centres, from early-stage development through to construction readiness. You'll help coordinate teams, manage project activities, and keep projects on track for successful delivery.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Support the development and delivery of renewable energy projects from early-stage feasibility through to construction readiness.
  • Coordinate planners, designers, consultants, and technical specialists to progress projects and achieve key milestones.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, reports, and documentation, ensuring projects remain on track.
  • Engage with local communities, stakeholders, and project partners to support successful project outcomes.
  • Organise project meetings, track actions, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective delivery.
  • Identify and manage project risks, opportunities, and quality standards, helping drive continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.
  • Support procurement and commercial activities, including tender processes, contract administration, and budget monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate project records, governance documentation, and reporting for senior stakeholders.
  • Promote high standards of health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance across all project activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
