Assistant Project Manager Nottingham £30,000 - £38,000 DOE

We are recruiting an ambitious and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join a growing project management team in Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their career within project management and gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of projects.

Description of the role:

  • Providing administrative and project support across a range of projects.
  • Undertaking tasks delegated by Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors, using your own initiative where appropriate.
  • Attending project meetings independently when required.
  • Preparing project programmes, risk registers and reports for client presentation.
  • Managing workloads effectively and ensuring key deadlines are achieved.
  • Attending client and consultant meetings as required.
  • Travelling to construction sites for meetings and site inspections.
  • Assisting with post-contract project management services.
  • Assisting with pre-contract project management services.

About you:

  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and with clients.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • High levels of computer literacy.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive and results-focused approach.
  • Confidence and the ability to problem-solve.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience within a project management, construction consultancy, civil engineering or building environment.
  • A full UK driving licence.
