Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Assistant Project Manager, an initial 12-month contract inside of IR35.
Daily rate of £500 - £600 – Umbrella set up.
Candidates must be flexible to travel to sites around Scotland in sometimes remote locations. Some travel expenses will be covered.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager or Project Manager, you will support the delivery of a £500m+ civil and building package through its execution phase.

This is a site-focused role offering the opportunity to develop experience across construction delivery, NEC contract management, and stakeholder engagement within a complex, live, multi-contract delivery model.
- Monitor contractor performance against the programme.
- Support project controls and reporting.
- Assist with NEC3 contract administration.
- Coordinate interfaces across contractors, designers, and stakeholders.

You will have:
- Experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects, ideally in a site-based role.
- Understanding of construction health & safety requirements, including CDM 2015.
- Familiarity with NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts and project delivery processes (practical experience preferred).
- Experience of High Voltage direct current projects, or similar civil/infrastructure – construction delivery.
