What You’ll Deliver
- Support the successful delivery of projects and programmes across a range of sectors, sizes and complexity levels.
- Assist project teams in achieving client objectives, ensuring projects are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.
- Support the administration of contracts, including NEC4 and other forms of contract, under the guidance of senior project professionals.
- Contribute sector knowledge and insights across defence, infrastructure, construction and related industries.
- Assist in the development of project documentation, including business cases, project plans, reports and governance materials.
- Support project controls activities, including programme management, risk management, cost monitoring and performance reporting.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and key stakeholders.
- Apply and develop project management skills, tools and methodologies to support successful project outcomes.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support continuous improvement across projects and programmes.

Desired Experience
- Experience working with UK Government organisations, particularly within the defence sector, would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting the delivery of projects and/or programmes throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to implementation and completion.
- An understanding of procurement processes and NEC contracts, with practical exposure considered beneficial.
- Experience coordinating contractors, consultants and advisors on infrastructure or construction-related projects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to identify issues, support problem solving and help maintain project momentum.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with both client and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Competent in project controls, reporting, risk management, scheduling and maintaining project documentation.
- A willingness to learn, develop professionally and take on increasing levels of responsibility within a project management environment.

Qualifications
Essential
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, supported by relatable professional experience.
Desirable
- Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM PMQ or AGILE.
- Contract Management qualification such as NEC4 PMA.
Security Requirements
Due to the sensitive nature of the work involved in our specialist defence projects, candidates will be required to hold, or be eligible to obtain, Security Clearance (SC). To meet the criteria for this level of clearance, applicants must:
- Be a sole British National
- Hold a valid UK passport
