Assistant Air Conditioning and Ventilation Project Manager
Location: London
Salary: Up to £50,000 plus a fantastic package (Zone 1-6 travel card, car allowance, bonus + more)
An established air conditioning and ventilation contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of several live projects across London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the HVAC, air conditioning, or ventilation sector who is ready to take on more responsibility and progress towards becoming a fully fledged Project Manager.
The company currently has approximately £3.5 million of live work, including a £2 million project in Camden, alongside projects near Euston and Oxford Street.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Project Manager with the day-to-day delivery of air conditioning and ventilation projects
- Assisting with project programmes, short-term look-aheads, and progress reporting
- Helping to prepare and review RAMS, quality assurance documents, and project paperwork
- Attending site meetings and maintaining regular communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Monitoring labour, materials, deliveries, and project progress
- Supporting the commercial management of projects, including cost tracking and variations
- Ensuring works are completed safely, to specification, and within agreed timescales
- Updating project information through Fieldwire and internal spreadsheets

Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within air conditioning, ventilation, HVAC, or building services
- A good technical understanding of VRF systems, ductwork, and associated mechanical services
- Experience working on construction or fit-out projects would be beneficial
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working across several projects and managing competing priorities
- Ambitious, personable, and keen to progress into a Project Manager position
The successful candidate will receive a salary of up to £50,000 plus a competitive package and genuine opportunities for career progression.
