Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to join our client-side team and support the delivery of a portfolio of healthcare projects.
Working as part of an established project team, you will manage and coordinate a range of minor works, refurbishment, maintenance and improvement projects across a live healthcare environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their project management career whilst gaining exposure to complex healthcare estates and stakeholder environments.
This is a full-time, site-based role, requiring close collaboration with clinical teams, contractors, consultants and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of multiple minor works projects.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, risks and reporting.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants and healthcare stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress to ensure delivery against agreed timescales and budgets.
- Support procurement activities and contractor management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality and governance requirements.
- Attend site meetings and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in managing project documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.

About You
We're interested in hearing from candidates who have:
- Experience working within construction, project management, building consultancy, estates or capital projects.
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience within healthcare, public sector or live operational environments would be advantageous.
- A relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction, Building Surveying or a related discipline would be beneficial.
