We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing gbp Develop team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to build their project management career, supporting the delivery of healthcare, refurbishment and development projects across the UK. You'll work alongside experienced Senior Managers, gain hands-on experience and play a key role in delivering projects that make a real difference. Offering proactive support to our development and project management team, you will help us successfully deliver new build and refurbishment projects for our healthcare and retail sector clients.
Hybrid working with two days per week on site in Crawley during the initial six months. Full time, permanent role
Key aspects of the role
- Support the delivery of healthcare construction and refurbishment projects
- Coordinate project meetings, actions and key project documentation
- Assist with project planning, procurement and stakeholder engagement
- Track project budgets, invoices and financial performance
- Support bid submissions and business development activities

About you
- A degree or technical qualification in Project Management, Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Good commercial awareness, with an interest in project delivery, budgets and financial management.
- Confidence building effective relationships with colleagues, clients and project stakeholders.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- A desire to learn, develop and build a long-term career in project management.
What we offer
Salary range: £30-35k, depending on experience.
