Assistant Project Manager - Water Sector - PMCM

You will ideally demonstrate:

• Experience working in a project support, project coordination, assistant project management, or similar role within a consultancy, engineering, or infrastructure environment.
• Exposure to the water sector, utilities sector, or wider infrastructure projects would be highly desirable.
• An understanding of core project management principles including programme, cost, risk, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence when engaging with clients and project teams.
• A degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Progress towards a recognised project management qualification such as APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards one.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in developing a long-term career within the water and infrastructure sector.
• A commitment to health, safety, sustainability, and continuous professional development.

We would particularly welcome applications from candidates who have gained experience within a consultancy environment and have worked on water, utilities, or environmental projects, even if this experience has been at a junior level.
