We're looking for a proactive and organised Assistant Property Manager to join our Property team and support the management of our diverse property portfolio across London.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in property management within a well-established and forward-thinking organisation.
The Role
As an Assistant Property Manager, you'll provide day-to-day support in managing Arriva's property portfolio, ensuring our sites are safe, compliant, well-maintained, and fit for purpose. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, landlords, and external agents to help deliver an efficient property management service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of Arriva's commercial and operational property portfolio.
- Assist with property inspections and ensure maintenance issues are identified and resolved promptly.
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works with contractors.
- Monitor property compliance, including health and safety requirements.
- Support lease administration, rent reviews, renewals, and property documentation.
- Maintain accurate property records and databases.
- Liaise with landlords, tenants, surveyors, contractors, and local authorities.
- Raise purchase orders, process invoices, and assist with budget monitoring.
- Prepare reports, schedules, and presentations for senior management.
- Provide administrative support to the Property Management team as required.

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experienced in administration or property management (preferred but not essential).
- Knowledgeable about property legislation and compliance (desirable).
- Working towards or interested in a property qualification such as RICS or IRPM (advantageous).
- A full UK driving licence is desirable due to occasional travel between sites.
